Abstract:
Depending on people’s different point of view, multinational enterprises (MNE) are either heroes or villains of globalized economy. Multinational company (MNC) was used by local government to compete for foreign direct investment. Just in last year, on September 3rd, 2008, in conformity of be optimistic about the development potential of Chinese beverage industry, Coca-Cola, one of the biggest MNE in the world, announced that they made acquisition in Hui Yuan group—Chinese Thesis largest juice beverage company at price of 17.92 billion Hong Kong dollars in total. Once the information was published, a fierce debate was established about whether we should sell so many tribal industries and companies to foreign investors or not. Besides, a lot of people expressed their anxious concerning the possible impact that domestic industry may suffer from as well. So it is necessary to do a detail analysis aimed at MNEs’ transnational investment in the following contents.
