To My Dear Colleagues:

 

I am pleased to write this reference letter for Miss Xuedi Han in support of her application for the Masters programme at your University. 

 

Miss Han is one of my favourite students who graduated from Zaozhuang University with a bachelor’s degree in English studies in June 2012. I was teaching her Bilingual Language Module for three years. Miss Han was always enthusiastic in learning, and showed her outstanding ability in my teaching area. She often discusses with me about the manners of English reading. Through her logical canalization and stimulating ideas, I am sure she has the talent to combine intellectual independence with well—grasped knowledge appropriately. She has left me a deep impression of a livingly young woman who is diligent and warm-hearted as well as good communication skills. She loves speaking out her own ideas. I notice that Miss Han has spent quite a lot time studying at the classroom in the evenings. Her spirit of learning helps her establish the good basic skill of language. As a result, she is quite good at English which can be helpful with her study at abroad.韓小姐是我最喜歡的學生畢業于棗莊學院的學士學位在2012年6月的英語學習。我教她的雙語語言模塊為三年。韓小姐總是熱衷于學習，并表現出了她出色的能力在我的教學區。她經常跟我討論關于英語閱讀方式。通過她的邏輯渠和刺激的想法，我相信她有天賦，適當掌握的知識結合知識的獨立性。她給我留下了深刻的印象，一個充滿勤奮和熱心的年輕女子，以及良好的溝通能力。她喜歡講出自己的想法。我注意到，韓小姐在晚上已經花了很多時間在教室學習。她的學習精神，幫助她建立良好的語言基本功。其結果是，她的英語相當不錯，這可以幫助她的研究在國外。

 

 

Miss Han enjoys the classes, especially projects and team work. I saw how she stated her opinion confidently and she can skilfully cooperate with classmates. During the four years, Xuedi received the trust from most of classmates and module tutors, and had been voted as chairman of the student union. According to her outstanding performance and responsible personality, Miss Han ranked above-average in her grade which helped her won the second-class scholarship last year. I also find that Xuedi Han has participated in many school activities such as school festivals or sports games and the ceremony of New Year. In these events, she always appears as an active participant. The great capabilities made her distinguished in many aspects. I think she would certainly contribute a lot to the diversity of your university if admitted.#p#分頁標題#e#

 

Judging by what I know of her, I think Miss Xuedi Han is fully qualified to pursue a Master’s degree in your program. Therefore, I strongly recommend Xuedi Han. I believe that it would be a win-win situation for your university and her if she is enrolled.

Dear Admission Office:

 

When Miss Xuedi Han request for a reference, I am very pleased to support her application for post-graduate studies at your University. Serving as Miss Han’s language tutor, I highly recommend that you provide a chance for her to reach deeper into the Translation and Interpreting area.

 

Xuedi is currently a forth year student on our BA English Studies at the Language school, Zaozhuang University. I am her English tutor teaches her Oral Interpretation Course. Prior to coming to Zaozhuang University, Xuedi studied English in her senior high school for three years where she performed well，having been awarded several prizes for achieving outstanding learning results. Since joining Zaozhuang University in 2008, Xuedi has adapted well to the new environment and new life style of university. Unlike many students who are not sure which field to pursue, Xuedi has made clear to us all that her goal is to do English Interpretation well. Xuedi is a studious lady who often puts forward her ideas upon questions and exchanges all of her innovative ideas with me after class. I still remember those moments that she won the second award in oratorical contest of the language school and won the first award in interpreting contest of our university. I feel so proud of that I can have such a student like her. She is now expected to graduate successfully in the summer.

 

While at Zaozhuang University, Xuedi had excellent performances in all subjects of her studies and demonstrated great potential, but she is more than a knowledgable bookworm. She is an outstanding leader. She is not only the monitor of their class, but also the President of the Student Union in the College of language. Xuedi has also gained rich work experience through part-time jobs and internships. For example she worded at the Private Teacher Company, local supermarket and McDonald’s for varied spells. Such experience would be helpful to her future postgraduate studies.

 

Xuedi is friendly and enjoys various extra-curricular activities. There is no doubt that Miss Xuedi Han will be a good postgraduate student. Therefore, I recommend her to the masters programme at your university.
