If you read a book—《The Invisible Man》 written by Ralph Ellison. The novel showed that a
black man who was ignored by people. He was an invisible man. When he underwent a series of
events and unfair, he still afforded to live. Finally, he still was unsuccessful. Undoubtedly, a black
man was a pity guy. In the road of his life, he was ignored. This black man needed to attention.
Relevant researches show that the buddy plays the important in the life of people. Now in modern society, There are study buddy organizations. Many people think that the children or people in Study buddy are very foolish people. So the people always pay little attention to or ignore those people in study buddy. However, the fact is not so. In study buddy communities, the people are very lively. Every child in Study Buddy feels safe, loved and celebrated. The founder of Challenge Day organization (a studying buddy organizaiton)said:”our mission is toprovide youth and their communities with experiential programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression.” (ChallengeDay)
There is a story about children in Study Buddies. In Fairfax City, the children, most of whom live in motels or government-subsidized housing, children get about 20 minutes of playtime with their teen tutors, one-on-one help on homework and -- if they finish early -- an opportunity to play board games in Study Buddy. The attention the children receive at Study Buddies often replaces negative influences in their communities, volunteers said.
