Besides, it is not the same as the defective software which has a legitimate purpose but contains harmful bugs. As to the computer malware, it refers to a computer program which copies itself and infects computers, and can increase the chance of spreading to other computers by infecting files on a network file system which is accessed by another computer. The computer malware does great harm to the computers. It may have following dangers:
Firstly, it may send a web address link as an instant message to the contacts on the infected machine. If the recipient thinks the link is from his or her friend and follows the link to the website, then the malware may infect the computers.
Secondly, the malware creator may profit by stealing sensitive information from other people, for the reason that some of the malware programs install the key logger.
