In the last year of my high school, my parents’ company had a yarn exhibition in Shanghai, China, and I was an assistant to help to make introduction brochures and small samples of our product. I am an international student, and one of the biggest benefits I gained from one-year study in US is that I made a lot of new friends who are from Japan, Korea, America, German, and all over the world. I think they are my most precious fortune from now to the future. A successful business leader not only should have strong knowledge of marketing or finance, but also should have good relations with people around him. In my freshman year, I tried to get involved in campus. I was a member of Mckinly Health Center’s Special Populations Students Health Concerns Committee, Chinese Students & Scholars Association, 留學生dissertation網Business China and Phi Eta Sigma. They are all wonderful student organizations and good ways to meet new friends. I have attended an I-program in this semester, which is a good chance to develop leadership skills. I also feel I improved negotiating skills from this program, so I hope I could continue to attend it in next year. U of I has a big campus, and it fits me very well. I really hope I could transfer into college of business, so that I can continue to pursuit my goal in U of I.
